After a couple of hours on the road, we found a Starbucks in Moses Lake, WA to get out an stretch our legs. just outside of the parking lot, we found a good parking spot on the side of the road next to some semi trucks. We ate lunch and then got of the the RV right next to a field of weeds that had dandelions the size of your fist.

After our break, went kept driving west towards our campsite in Kent. Surprisingly, eastern Washington was a lot more barren and desertlike that I thought. It wasn't until we got about halfway through the state before the greenery appeared.

Before arriving at the camp, we made a stop at Trader Joes to load up once again. While going through our leveling routine at the campground, Kristen noticed that inside the driver's side rear wheel well that there was problem. An electrical wire had come looks from it's harness and had been rubbing on the tire for some time. Luckily, the damage was limited to just the jacket around the wire. Our camp neighbor overheard our discussion and jump in to help out. After some duct tape and zip tie work, we were as good as new in about 5 minutes.

While all of this was going on the kids were running around and we were organizing with my dad, who had just landed at SeaTac that he should rent a car and meet us out our campground. We ate our hot dogs for dinner and about 7:30 my dad finally joined up with us.
