We are still having a hard time waking up on Eastern Time (called "fast time" around these parts). This morning, my loose crown fell off. I had to spend about 45 minutes brushing my teeth, the crown, and and trying to put it back in with cement. I got crown back in, but it’s still not quite right. I’m hoping this will hold until I can see my own dentist.
We didn’t pull out of our campsite until 11AM, which is now becoming our typical departure time. From there, we rolled back through Chattanooga one last time and stopped in a random parking lot next to the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel and ate our sandwiches. Chattanooga is a cool town, but we did not get a chance to explore much of it. Really, we just just stopped to eat and fill the gas tank. We found a gas station quickly, but every time we tried to get gas someone pulled into the pumps ahead of us leaving us no choice but to move on, so we made another attempt further up the road and had the same problem at the Exxon.

We passed through Knoxville and then it was on to the Smokey Mountains. We opted to not go through the National Park portion, as we were running later than usual and Mike was not excited about the curvy and steep descent that was part of the road running through the park. It was still a gorgeous drive!
We made it to our campsite in Swannanoa, NC, a small town just east of Asheville. As usual, we arrived later in the evening and had to set up quickly for dinner. As Mike and I were preparing dinner there was an amazing sunset over the river. The kids...we barely parked the RV before they had their fishing poles out. Tyler managed to catch a fish briefly, but it got away. We did manage to corral the kids for dinner and finished up the evening roasting s'mores.

It was a cold morning the following day, but the boys got up by 8AM to ride the big kid big wheels before anyone could beat them to the punch. They raced around for 30 minutes until Tyler got a flat tire.

It turns out the that Swannnanoa River is a trout hatchery, so the the river was full off fish. Many people around us caught several fish, but we did not catch anything other than twigs and rocks. However, it didn't matter as Rachel was so excited to get to fish in a real river.

Tyler found another location a little further up the river to do his fishing. He was casting his line while standing on the pedestrian bridge and managed to get it stuck in a tree. I had to cut it out of the tree which put an end to his fishing for the day.
