It was hard to say good-bye to the Kinzers. We left their house just before lunch and ate in the RV as we drove. We stopped to shop at a Trader Joe's on our way to the coast and I picked up a North Carolina TJ's bag. We arrived at the beach in time to see the sunset. Can you believe we get to camp here?!

We put chicken ranch foil packets in the volcano on top of a pile of charcoal and headed over the dunes to collect shells. I love that there's patches of sand combined with patches of broken up shells. These shell pieces remind me of Cambria, except these shells are more orange and the ones from the west coast are more gray. Rachel collected a pile of giant shells.

We left our mark in the sand and then headed back to eat dinner watching the sunset.
