The Barcroft's allowed us to park the RV on the street in front of their house for a few days. Bryan grilled us some beautiful burgers on one night and a great steak and potato dinner the next night. The kids ran round and played games, watched Star Wars in Bruce's room and had a "Booger Ball" fight. We all had a lot of fun and finished up our stay with our now infamous couch pose with all of the cousins.

We ate lunch at a breezy Cadillac Ranch. Bryan gave us some paint to use, so we added some of our own spray paint artwork--not graffiti. I'm not sure when people started to spray paint these cars, but it had obviously been taking place for years as evidenced by the inches thick layers of paint.

The town is full of churches and this one is the church that Kristen attended as a kid. Great stained glass windows and a very unique sanctuary chandelier.

On day two we took a day trip to Pala Dura Canyon. We did not get a chance to do much hiking, but we were able to drive around the park loop and see some really large ants and some wild turkeys.

The sleepy small town of Canyon, TX with a great coffee shop on the corner and soda shop that looked as if has not changed in the last 60 years. Luke had been asking to get a shake, so this place seemed like the right place to have at it. Rachel was able to order a Cherry Lime Fizzy and Tyler had a Root Beer.
